Our Year 11 Geography students will begin their coursework investigation next Monday. The students and teachers are very excited to travel to Barcelona to conduct their investigation. This will involve collecting data on coastal features and coastal management solutions south of the city, as well as exploring the changes in urban land use from the centre to the outskirts of Barcelona. The high quality data they collect will be used to test geographical theories in an extended piece of writing called a geographical investigation. This is an essential part of their IGCSE Geography course and we look forward to sharing more information on our return.
