The Work of the Month for December was nominated by the Czech department. The students in year 9 were asked to work collaboratively to create a presentation about an area of Southern Europe. The students selected by Ms Costiou are Eliška V and Sofie D who chose to create their presentation about Greece. They were able to talk about Greek cuisine in a colourful way. They worked together well and even presented the audience with Greek cookies.
Viky M and Janek B were also nominated for their vivid and interesting presentation on Malta, where Viky had previously lived. During the presentation the sentences were read with correct Maltese pronunciation and they taught the class to say Good morning in Maltese. In addition they were able to answer the many questions asked by the audience.
