For the first time ever, Park Lane International community had the opportunity to celebrate life and immerse themselves in traditional and authentic Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations. Students and staff took part in a dress up competition in Pohádka, where they were able to eat and drink themed foods and drinks, get a look at the “altar” and “ofrendas” and have fun with this traditional Mexican celebration.
Amelie T. and Šimon M. from Year 7 were the winners of the dress-up competition.
A huge thank you to everybody that did their part to make sure it was a fantastic Dia de los Muertos for both staff and students.
