88 Year 5 and Year 6 primary students visited the Valdštejnská site for a fun-filled STEAM Day, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Our dedicated Year 9 STEAM guides – Sam A, Mia B, Sofia E, and Maks Z – showcased outstanding leadership throughout the day. Maria T and Vera M, also from Year 9, provided skilled support during the Art session.
The guides proudly wore custom ‘STEAM Guides’ T-shirts, designed by our talented Maths-Art Squad, Sanda F and Michelle K from Year 12.
The primary students participated in four exciting sessions: exploring probability and chance in Mathematics, colour theory in Art, micro-bits and programming in Computer Science, and “Sink or Swim” in Science. Once again, the Valdštejnská site was alive with energy, and we’re already looking forward to planning the next event for this enthusiastic and engaged audience!
