Last Tuesday we had a fantastic collaborative assembly at Norbertov where talented secondary students came and performed for our budding primary musicians. It was a great chance for the secondary students to work on their performance skills in front of an audience and they all excelled at this. A huge thanks to Patrik from Y12 who introduced the performers to help make the show run smoothly. It was great to hear how the students started playing the instruments and the words of wisdom that they could pass on to the primary students. The primary students listened so well to the various genres of music played on different instruments and many have come up to me to tell me that they are forming a band or that they would like to start having individual lessons. This is great to hear as to excel in an instrument, individual lessons are of paramount importance.
