Children from the School Council at Norbertov campus met with representatives from the catering company Fresh and Tasty to discuss school snack options. Year 4 and 5 students shared their thoughts on the current selection, expressing that some sandwiches and yoghurts were not particularly to their liking. Instead, they suggested incorporating more fresh alternatives, such as vegetables and smoothies, which they believe would make snack time both healthier and more enjoyable.
The discussion was thoughtful and productive, with students presenting their ideas in a mature and reasonable manner. Their feedback was taken seriously by the catering team, and we are hopeful that, with the expertise of Fresh and Tasty, the snack offerings will be adjusted to better suit everyone’s preferences. This collaboration highlights the importance of student voices in shaping their school experience and ensuring meals are both nutritious and appealing.
