I was born in the southwest of England and mostly grew up in West Africa and the South of France. After completing my French Baccaleauréat, I graduated from the University of Wales with a BA (Hons) in International Politics and French, and from Hull University with an MBA in Marketing. I worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland and a large marketing company but later changed career after acquiring my Cambridge Certificate to teach French as a Foreign Language from International House, London. I obtained my PGCE via the University of Sunderland in 2007.
I’ve now been teaching for 15 years and was previously Head of French and a Key Stage 3 form tutor at the International Community School in Amman, Jordan. Over the years I’ve taught pupils from Year 3 to Year 13. I have been a teacher and assessor for GCSE French and the GCE A-level.
I feel privileged to work for our rapidly developing school and enjoy living in such a beautiful city. My son Harry joined Park Lane in Year 3 and is now in Year 6.
