Having grown up in the UK and then moved to New Zealand as a young teenager where I studied ecology, I decided to move back to the UK to earn my PGCE in Primary teaching. I spent seven lovely years teaching in a rural school in North Yorkshire, before settling in the Czech Republic with my Czech wife and three young sons. I taught years 4 and 6 at another international school in Prague for eleven years, before taking the opportunity to join the delightful community of Parklane.
When not teaching, I fill my time with cycling, playing football, kayaking or tinkering in my workshop. I have recently started an activity, with my now grown sons, that has highlighted my slight fear of heights.
