In 2016, I graduated with a BA in Primary Education from Leeds Beckett University. Whilst completing my degree, I spent my summer teaching voluntarily in different countries including Romania and India.
After graduating, I worked as a year 6 primary school teacher in North Hertfordshire, UK. After two years working in the primary school setting, I realised I preferred teaching older students so I decided to make the change to secondary education. I secured a teaching role as a Mathematics teacher: this was always the subject I was most interested in.
I worked at this school, also in North Hertfordshire, for 4 years, in which time I was also KS3 lead for the subject and a year 7 form tutor.
My love of travel and experiencing new cultures prompted me to look for a teaching role in an international setting, hence the move to Park Lane International School.
As well as travelling, I enjoy music, swimming and skiing. I’m very excited to be living in the heart of Europe and I am looking forward to exploring Prague, The Czech Republic and surrounding countries.
