Born in the heart of northern England, I completed my bachelors in science at the University of Nottingham. After completing my undergraduate studies, I spent a year teaching English as a foreign language online. I then trained as a specialist primary school teacher in my hometown of Sheffield. Once I had achieved qualified teacher status along with my PGCE, I moved to Lithuania where I was responsible for teaching and learning in a primary school in the capital city of Vilnius.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing music, playing racquet sports and learning new languages. As I am a keen runner and swimmer, I frequently spend time at local parks and lakes. I also spend time hosting cultural meetups. Whilst abroad, I hosted the Vilnius Language Exchange where people from different cultures and backgrounds engage in multilingual conversations in a friendly family-like environment.
