Originally born in the paradise island of Bermuda to a British mother and Bermudian father, I began my educational journey in the UK when our family traded sandy shores for the misty mornings of the English countryside. With a growing passion for exploration, I had the privilege of teaching kindergarten in Taiwan, Tanzania, and the United Kingdom, where I ended up completing my PGCE in Nottingham.
With experience across various Kindergarten educational systems and styles, I am passionate about early childhood education and a strong believer in the importance of nurturing the whole child. My approach centers on creating an engaging, inclusive environment where every student feels valued and excited to learn. I focus on fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning through play-based and inquiry-driven activities, and particularly enjoy the unique experiences that each day in nursery brings.
Outside of the classroom, I love capturing landscapes through photography, which pairs perfectly with my passion for hiking and exploring. At home, you’ll often find me lost in a good novel, experimenting in the kitchen, or practicing yoga. I also have a soft spot for video games and scuba
diving—a diverse mix that keeps life wonderfully interesting.
