After completing a degree in Psychology 2001, I went on to gain my qualification to teach as a postgraduate. While I loved teaching at a challenging inner London school, I was particularly drawn to the many children who did not find the school environment easy. So I returned to university to earn my Doctorate in Child, Community and Educational Psychology.
I began working as a psychologist in North London before moving to South London and becoming a Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist. I developed a specialist interest in Emotional, Social and Behavioural needs, particularly the area of emotional wellbeing.
My goal in working with children, young people and their families is to help them build a lifelong toolkit of strategies to support their mental health and wellbeing. I offer a friendly and empathetic approach, drawing on a range of psychological models and techniques designed to suit each individual.
I now live here in Prague with my family, and I love to spend my free time exploring this beautiful city.
