I have always been fascinated by the nuances of human communication and the ways in which language can both unite and divide us. This passion led me to pursue a degree in interpreting and translation, where I delved deep into the art and science of conveying meaning across linguistic and cultural boundaries. Through my studies, I developed a strong foundation in language skills, cultural awareness, and the technical aspects of interpreting, all of which I now bring to my role at Park Lane. Here, I have the privilege of using my expertise to facilitate clear and effective communication between parents, staff, and any external partners who are a part of our community. It is incredibly rewarding to help build bridges between people and ensure that everyone feels heard and understood.

Outside of my professional life, I have a wide range of interests that keep me both busy and fulfilled. I love the quiet comfort of reading at home, where I can immerse myself in different worlds and perspectives. I am also a passionate member of a choir, regularly competing and enjoying the camaraderie and creative expression that singing brings. In addition, I have taken on a leadership role within my local scouts group, where I help to plan and organize various events and activities, fostering a sense of teamwork and adventure among the members. I am also deeply involved in the live-action role-playing (LARP) community, which provides a unique space for creativity, storytelling, and personal connection. These hobbies offer me diverse ways to explore my interests, build relationships, and continue learning about myself and others.

Looking ahead, I am excited about the future and the new opportunities it holds. I recently began a course to earn a teaching degree, inspired by my desire to contribute more directly to education. My hope is that one day, I might join the Park Lane team as a teacher of Czech, bringing my love of language, communication, and community into the classroom. It is a journey I am eager to undertake, driven by my commitment to fostering understanding and connection in every aspect of my life.
