On 11th of November our school celebrated Martinstag, a German tradition honoring Saint Martin. Students from KS3 and Year 6 have been busy crafting beautiful lanterns to decorate the school, bringing warmth and light to our halls. These lanterns will not only brighten up the school throughout the week but will also be displayed during our upcoming Winter Market.
The lanterns are on view in the Learning Center for everyone to enjoy. Alongside this creative activity, students watched a short film about Saint Martin’s life and the values he represents, including kindness and generosity. They also participated in a fun quiz on Kahoot, testing their knowledge about this important cultural figure.
Thanks to everyone involved for making this celebration so vibrant and meaningful!
