Literature night will take place on September 18th, from 18:00 to 23:00. This event introduces the general public to samples of new works by European writers performed by well-known actors in attractive or normally inaccessible places. The unique combination of an unusual place, a personal interpretation and a literary text offers an unusual cultural experience and an opportunity to get acquainted with the thinking of contemporary European authors. The Night of Literature has earned a firm place in the Czech cultural calendar and has become an indispensable part of it.
Park Lane will host one of the readings at our IB Centre Úvoz, Vilma Cibulková will read from Those We Shall Remember (Os memoráveis) by Lídia Jorge. Readings will be held simultaneously at various locations, starting at 30-minute intervals. The schedule at all venues is as follows: 18:00, 18:30, 19:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, and 22:30. Each excerpt will be read twice per hour, allowing two groups of spectators to experience the readings.
