Last Wednesday, the IB Centre at Park Lane’s Úvoz site hosted a session of the Business and Economics Forum, organized by our IB students, namely Laura Janečková. The guest of honour was Tomáš Čupr, founder of Rohlík.cz, Czechia’s leading grocery delivery company.
During his talk, Mr. Čupr shared his inspiring journey of building Rohlík.cz and its successful European expansion. He also reflected on his experiences with his previous ventures, Dáme Jídlo and Slevomat, which he founded and later sold.
In the end, students could ask questions, to which Mr. Čupr offered insights into the future of AI, its potential to shape everyday life, and advice for students navigating their futures. He emphasized the critical role of passion in achieving success, reminding students, “Without love for what you do, success is impossible.”
