WRO ROBOT OLYMPIAD is a non-profit association that every year organises competitions in almost 100 countries around the globe. Last Wednesday, Park Lane International School introduced and hosted this event at our Úvoz campus. We were delighted with how all the participants collaborated, assisted one another, and competed in a friendly atmosphere.
Nonetheless, even though we were competing against very experienced teams from the best robotics clubs in Prague, one of our teams managed to get second place. So congratulations to Sebastian M and Vojtěch T, who may get the opportunity to represent the Czech Republic in the Friendship Tournament in Denmark in September.
Over the past few months, Mr. Emerich mentored four of our students (Sebastian M, Vojtěch T, Adrian C and Rafael O) who initially were hoping to just gain some experience this year.
