Over the past three Fridays, our Year 11 students had the pleasure of welcoming Humberto Luis Solórzano Angulo, who works with the charity  InBaze, supporting migrants and refugees here in the Czech Republic. His visits were an enriching part of the students’ learning in PSHEE, focusing on the themes of cultural diversity and community.

Humberto shared how language, food, and music can bridge different cultures, highlighting both the challenges and rewards of immigrating to a new country. As a musician himself, he brought along his guitar, offering students a lively taste of music and even leading them in a fun Spanish sing-along!

We are excited to continue inviting guest speakers and celebrating the incredible diversity of cultures within the Czech Republic and our school community.
