Between the 9th and the 12th of June, our Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh students completed their Assessed Adventurous Journey in České Švýcarsko. Thankfully the weather forecast for heavy rain changed to bright sunshine, and we had excellent weather for the trip. All students passed with flying colours, and pending submission of their projects after the summer and completing their physical, skill and volunteering sections, will receive their awards next school year. Special mention goes to this year’s Bronze groups who pushed themselves to the absolute limit on this trip!
Well done to all involved, and thanks to the teachers who helped supervise. Watch this space for details of the upcoming Gold Duke of Edinburgh trip to Malá Fatra in Slovakia.
