This week, our Year 13 students completed their practical work for their Biology, Chemistry, and Physics IAs. The students conducted a wide range of experiments—far too many to list in full! A few examples include measuring the vitamin C content in various fruits, testing the viscosity of slime, analyzing the protein content of milk, examining the effect of binders on fabric wash fastness, investigating how temperature affects the frequency of a guitar string, and exploring the impact of mass on the flight distance of a glider.
In the coming weeks, students will write up their experiments, and the marks they receive will contribute to their final IA grade.
