The IB Diploma Programme

Park Lane International School is authorized to offer the Diploma Programme of the International Baccalaureate. The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations which prepares students aged 16 to 19 for success at university and life beyond.

International Association of Prep Schools

Park Lane is a member with the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS). This is a UK based association founded in 1892 with over 670 of the world's leading prep schools in membership, delivering excellent standards of education and care. THE INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS INSPECTORATE

Following a successful application for IB Diploma Programme authorisation, Park Lane International School officially became an IB World School from 1st February 2018 and its first cohort of IB Diploma Programme students will commence their studies in September. As an accredited member of COBIS, Park Lane underwent its latest BSO (British Schools Overseas) inspection in March 2018, achieving full compliance with the new BSO inspection framework. In the inspection report, the quality of Park Lane pupils' learning, achievements and personal development are all described as excellent. You can download the full ISI report here.

THE DEPARTMENT FOR EDUCATION

Park Lane International School is recognised by the UK Department for Education and has been allocated a unique reference number on the national school reference system, Edubase providing official recognition. The number is 137803-6010. To be recognised by the Department for Education, a British school overseas must have an inspection report which shows that their performance against all the standards is at least satisfactory. This reflects the standards required for continuing registration as a school in England. Our school has been awarded an ‘excellent‘ rating in all areas of teaching and learning, leadership and management, pupils’ welfare and health and safety.

National Association for Able Children in Education

An independent charity founded almost 40 years ago, the National Association for Able Children in Education (NACE) works with member schools, education leaders and practitioners to improve provision for more able learners, driving whole-school improvement and raising achievement for all. NACE believes that all children and young people, regardless of background, should be recognised and have the opportunity to realise their potential.
