The Primary PE team looks forward to seeing all students, parents, and teachers at the highly anticipated Park Lane Mile 2024, taking place on October 2nd (with a backup date of October 9th) at Park Nad Bateriemi. This exciting day is organized for Early Years and Key Stage 1 (KS1) students, as well as Key Stage 2 (KS2) students, their parents, and teachers. Here’s a breakdown of the day’s events:
Event Schedule:
9:00 – 10:15 AM: Early Years & KS1 Races
Early Years (EY): 60m race
Year 1 & Year 2 (Y1, Y2): 1 lap (400m)
10:15 AM: Parents & Teachers Races
Female participants:
2 laps (800m)
Male participants:
4 laps (PL Mile, 1600m)
10:30 AM: KS1 & Parents/Teachers Award Ceremony
10:40 – 12:30 PM: KS2 Races
Year 3 (Y3): 1 lap (400m)
Year 4 (Y4): 2 laps (800m)
Year 5 (Y5): 2 laps (800m)
Year 6 (Y6) Girls: 3 laps (1200m)
Year 6 Boys: 4 laps (PL Mile, 1600m)
