On Thursday last week, our Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award participants presented their projects from their Assessed Adventurous Journeys that took place before the summer holidays.

We were treated to talks on historical castles and caves, sandstone erosion, useful plants found in the woods, musical playlists inspired by the trip and some photo journals. This marked the final stage of this prestigious award for these students who have spent the past year completing various activities including various sports, skills and volunteering as well as trekking through the wilderness for several days.

Most of the students only need to finish logging their activities before they will complete the award, but a special congratulations goes to Vicki M and Ella M who received confirmation yesterday that their awards are complete. The students will receive their awards at a special award ceremony in the new year.

Many thanks to all the students, teachers and parents who attended the presentation evening and congratulations to all our successful participants.
