I’ve joined Park Lane in 2017 from the beautiful Wiltshire town of Corsham. Although originally from Poland, where I read mathematics at the University of Wroclaw, I’ve been teaching in England for the past thirteen years. I taught in three very different comprehensive schools: small and friendly Middlefield in Lincolnshire, large and academically focused Hardenhuish in Chippenham (Wiltshire) and finally artistically orientated Corsham School. During that time, I was very lucky to gain experience as a KS4 and KS5 coordinator as well as an A-level examiner for maths.
I am a dynamic and creative teacher with a geeky love of my subject and I can’t wait to share it with you. My aim is to shape fearless problem solvers and inquisitive learners, well equipped to face unknown challenges of tomorrow.
As a form tutor I supported my students from Year 7 to Year 13 and I was privileged to see them grow and develop into confident young adults. Last year I guided my first group of Y13 students through their UCAS application process and was proud to see them set off to the Universities of their choice.
Apart from maths, I love reading and I’m a keen cyclist. My lifelong ambition is to learn to play the piano and I’ve already started working on my Czech!
I’m moving to Prague with my husband and two sons and we are incredibly excited to be able to live in this iconic European capital.
