Monday saw an excited bunch of Year 6 students take their first steps into Secondary life. The cohort, that included 5 students new to Park Lane, began the day with a very brief assembly. For some the highlight of the day was using bananas to imitate food passing through the digestive system. For others it was ice creams drawn and coloured so well they looked edible. Between them they attended a whole range of subjects, but according to the straw poll I took Maths was a clear favourite among the lessons.Interestingly, no one needed to visit my desk for help getting to their classrooms. Well done Year 6!
