I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, a beautiful country located in the Northwestern part of South America surrounded by both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans as well as the Caribbean sea. I studied hospitality management in the UK. After my second year at university, I worked in a private children’s nursery in Chiswick, London and I realised my future was not in the hospitality industry but I was meant to work with children!
My boss at the nursery encouraged me to pursue studying childcare and education, so I worked part time while enrolling myself into college to work towards obtaining my Diploma as an Early Years Educator.
I have worked with a wide range of ages and I have experience in managing a nursery setting. After spending a decade living in Asia, I am very happy to have settled with my family in Prague and to join the Park Lane International School community.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, going to the theatre with friends and my newly discovered passion… baking! My favourite author is Latin-American Nobel prize winner Mario Vargas Llosa whom I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of years ago.
