On Thursday students from Year 10 visited the drug revolution train for an interactive and sensory experience explaining the dangers of drug/alcohol abuse as a part of their PSHEE unit on the topic. Students commented that some of their key takeaways were the legal consequences of drug use, the short and long-term negative effects on the body/brain, as well as the effects of addiction not only on the user also the family of the person involved. Overall it was an informative and engaging way to learn about a very important topic for all of our students.
