Reading Week at Norbertov campus will begin on Thursday 3rd March until Friday 11th March. Across the school there will be lots of reading activities and challenges taking place, such as: KS1 and KS2 buddy reading, break time with a book and a biscuit, DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) plus many more!
We will kick off the week on Thursday 3rd March, with a ‘Bedtime story’ theme and the children have the option to come to school wearing pajamas and bring their favourite book. On Thursday 10th March, we invite parents to join us for ‘Breakfast with a book’ at 8am in the school hall.
On Friday 11th March we will be celebrating World Book Day and our theme for this year is ‘Wild About Reading’. The children are encouraged to come to school dressed as a character from any book that has a wild animal character or setting and bring the book too if they have it!
