The Year 5 class is planning an exciting trip to the Štefánikova Observatory on June 3rd. This visit is part of their science lessons and aims to spark interest in astronomy through hands-on learning about the universe.
The students look forward to see the observatory, nestled within the picturesque Strahov district, as well as the historical charm of the building, which has been a beacon of astronomical research since 1928. The observatory, named after the renowned Slovak astronomer Milan Rastislav Štefánik, offers a unique blend of historical insights and modern scientific discovery.
